Stephen van den Heever

van den Heever
Managing Director

Stephen joined the Investment Banking practice of Doering & Eastwood, Ltd. (now Integris Partners) in 2005, which at that time had enjoyed a successful fourteen year history. Prior to the recent expansion of the firm, Stephen was the managing partner of the firm and led completed transactions across a wide range of industries.

Before this, Stephen had founded the corporate advisory group of Northern Colorado’s largest CPA firm.  Stephen began his career at Ernst & Young in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was an audit manager, and at Investec Merchant Bank where he focused on MBO’s and recapitalizations.

In addition to his transactional experience, Stephen has been a business entrepreneur.  Notable ventures include founding a manufacturing company that was contracted by the Walt Disney Company to develop a lifetime-finish, outdoor-image product.

(The graphics-embedded stainless steel technology can still be seen at Epcot Center’s Leave a Legacy pavilion today, and Stephen and his organization won the “most innovative product” award from the Northern Colorado Business Report for this product.)  He also helped lead a management buyout of a neural net software technology company from its publicly-traded parent, serving as its global CFO.

Stephen graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa) with a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Accounting, and a High Diploma in Corporate Law. He is also a CPA, CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), as well as a Chartered Accountant.
